Global Youth Justice, Inc. has been awarded a competitive federal grant from the federal AmeriCorps for purposes of serving as a Lead USA Organization for USA Holiday — 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. This grant begins in 2021 — the 20 Year Mark — since September 11th, 2001. This competitive grant has been awarded for three (3) years, with the 1st Year Grant Awarded to Global Youth Justice, Inc. being $134,808.

Additionally, Global Youth Justice, Inc. will be allocating a minimum of $50,000 in time and resources to this project, and the Official Presidential Inauguration Committee of President Biden and Vice President Harris selected Global Youth Justice, Inc. to be one of the Official Partners to benefit from the nearly 200,000 Field of Flags Donation, and so far, the $7,560 donated to Global Youth Justice, Inc. will be 100% utilized for this project, for purposes of Planting Trees for each of the 2997 Lost on 9/11/2001 — and purchasing 100+ 9/11 Day Official Flags that have the names of 2997 Souls Lost.

There will be 125 9/11 Day Opportunities to include: (1) 25 Youth/Teen/Student/Peer Court and Peer Jury Diversion Programs will serve as Peer-to-Peer Volunteer Management Model Sites for both youth and adults serving as Justice Volunteers, and 9/11 Day Project; 5 State Projects on Youth/Teen/Student/Peer Court and Peer Jury Diversion Programs will focus on improving Volunteer Management of Youth and Adults, and 9/11 Day Project; and (3) 100 9/11 Day only Projects, where everyone will split up planting a Tree before and on 9/11, for each of the 2997 Souls Lost on September 9, 2001 — and we will split up reading the names of each of these Souls on 9/11 Day around Flag Poles across the USA, where the Official Flag of Honor, with the 2997 names of the lost souls is flying next to an American Flag.

Global Youth Justice

Global Youth Justice, Inc. champions the expansion of youth justice and juvenile justice diversion programs called Youth/Teen/Peer/Student Court and Peer Jury.  Historic numbers of Justice Volunteers, including youth and adults -- make it possible for 1,800+ communities on 5 continents to give their youth a 2nd, and even 3rd chance for committing minor crimes, offenses and violations.  The Global Youth Justice Movement is a text-book example of a local grass-roots volunteer-driven "scaleable model" to strengthen juvenile justice, youth justice and criminal justice systems around the globe.
