Global Youth Justice Ambassador
Interested in serving as a Global Youth Justice Ambassador?
The Global Youth Justice Movement taking hold around the world continues to involve increasing numbers of youth and adults each and every year and in a wide range of roles. The addition of this new role – that of a “Global Youth Justice Ambassador” will further enhance the widening and coordinated effort of Global Youth Justice to have a favorable impact on societies around the world. Global Youth Justice Ambassadors are adults and youth who are currently, have been involved with, and even those never involved with a local youth court, teen court, peer court, student court, youth peer jury, and/or youth peer panel around the world
Global Youth Justice Ambassadors are youth and adults from around the world who volunteer to serve with Global Youth Justice in our effort to reduce crime and incarceration rates around the world. We achieve this largely though promoting the global expansion of quality juvenile justice programs commonly referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court, youth peer jury, and youth peer panel. Global Youth Justice Ambassadors are designated by Global Youth Justice and they agree to initially serve in this capacity for a minimum one (1) year. At Global Youth Justice we encourage youth and adults to consider serving in this capacity for multiple years. We believe for many youth and adults around the world this will become one of those special causes you carry with you in your spirit for many years to come.
In 2010, the role of Global Youth Justice Ambassador was established by Scott Bernard Peterson to further advance the Global Youth Justice Movement. Global Youth Justice Ambassadors will serve in a leadership capacity and strive to achieve the 2020 plan objectives, and support the mission and vision of Global Youth Justice, LLC. We look forward to receiving applications from youth and adults who have made the decision to serve as a community and social activist. Social change is rare and together our actions will resonate favorably for years to come. We can and will reduce crime and incarceration rates around the world, and as a result, many of our fellow human beings will have an improved quality of life. At Global Youth Justice we hope to attract youth and adults from around the world who want to serve as a Global Youth Justice Ambassador for purposes of wanting to be a bigger piece of the puzzle in God’s plan.
What are the expectations of someone interested in serving as a Global Youth Justice Ambassador?
Volunteers from around the world interested in applying to become a Global Youth Justice Ambassador should approach this new role with a healthy attitude and a willingness to allocate a few hours or more each month in support of advancing the Global Youth Justice Movement. You should be willing and able to allocate a few hours each month, and possibly more, when you are working on a specific project or task in support of advancing the Global Youth Justice Movement. As a Global Youth Justice Ambassador, you make the initial decision to empower yourself to serve in this new “role” and come with ideas and strategies that will advance the Global Youth Justice Movement. This is a testament to the infectious experience that comes with being involved in a local youth justice program often referred to as “teen court” or “youth court”.
