LOBBYING and ADVOCACY

 

Global Youth Justice, LLC will lobby without any restrictions.  It was purposely incorporated as an LLC and not a 501c3 to avoid any restrictions.  Lobbying is paramount in the mission of Global Youth Justice, LLC for purposes of promoting the global expansion of quality juvenile justice programs commonly referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court, youth peer jury, and youth peer panel.

 

International Lobbying and Advocacy

Global Youth Justice, LLC is in various stages of actively supporting more than a half dozen counties in their efforts to implement, enhance, and/or learn about the juvenile justice program commonly referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court, youth peer jury, and youth peer panel.  Some of these countries include the United Kingdom, Guam, Canada, Australia and Japan.  International travel is confirmed for both 2009 and 2010 and planning is underway for 2011.

 

National Lobbying and Advocacy

In 2010 Global Youth Justice, LLC will undertake a national public awareness campaign that includes outreach to the 100 United States Senators, 435 Members of Congress, the President, and the 56 governors/chief elected executives from the 50 states, 5 U.S. Territories and the District of Columbia. Global Youth Justice, LLC will work with other interested countries to launch similar efforts such as will take place in America.

 

Presentations and Speeches

More than a twenty-five (25) speeches and presentations at national and international events will be made by the leadership and/or a designee from Global Youth Justice, LLC in 2009 and 2010.

The National Police Athletic League 2009 Conference in New York, the 2009 National Conference on Volunteering and Service in California, the 2009 National Training to Implement a Youth or Teen Court in Ohio, and the 2009 National Conference on Education and the Law In Maine are just a few of events Global Youth Justice, LLC already made speeches and presentations at in early 2009.  Many more are scheduled in our effort to expand the number of juvenile justice programs commonly referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court, youth peer jury, and youth peer panel.
